Live, Laugh, Love.

This is how much God loved the world: He gave his Son, his one and only Son. And this is why: so that no one need be destroyed; by believing in Him, anyone can have a whole and lasting life.

John 3:16, Message Version

Happy Easter Everyone!

Live, Laugh, Love. We hear these words often and see them carved out
of blocks of wood in craft stores and written on picture frames to hang on the wall. I often see them in houses as decals on the wall, but what does Jesus say about these three words?

First let’s take “LIVE” also translated “life”. Put them together and we get, “live
life”. This immediately takes me to:

John 10:10, AMP
The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows).

Key point here: Jesus tells us He came so that we could “have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows)”.
We hear this often, but stop and think about this. Our father sent us Jesus to teach us and show us His heart and will toward us. His will toward us is to “have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows)”. So why would you settle for anything less than God’s best for your life?

Next let’s take “LAUGH”. This takes us to Proverbs 17:22, AMP:
A happy heart is good medicine and a cheerful mind works healing, but a broken spirit dries up the bones.

In order to “LAUGH” you have to have a “happy heart”. The Holy Spirit is telling us we must have a cheerful mind. In order to have a cheerful mind, we must have faith, (trust and confidence) in Jesus’ love for us and see Him as the only source of all good things. We must never look to people or things as the source of our happiness, provision and supply, spiritually, emotionally, physically or financially. People and things can never bring you constant and consistent happiness. Jesus can! Keep your mind set on Jesus and the love He has for you. Keep your mind set on the fact that He did everything it took to offer you a life you can choose to enjoy. An abundant provision of all good things spiritually, physically, emotionally and financially. Trust Him to direct your every step to a happy heart. When you do this you will be laughing and enjoying your life.

Now let’s take “LOVE.” This takes us to John 3:16. God soooo loved the world!
“This is how much God loved the world: He gave his Son, his one and only Son. And this is why: so that no one need be destroyed; by believing in Him, anyone can have a whole and lasting life. (Message Version)

Key word: ANYONE. No matter what you have done if you accept Jesus, you can have a
whole and lasting life!

Do you see the circle of life as God offers it to us? It all comes back to accepting the gift of His son, Jesus, and trusting in Him and His provision for all good things for us, spiritually, physically, emotionally and financially.
LIVE, LAUGH, LOVE AND ENJOY YOUR LIFE AS GOD INTENDED!

Thought for the Week

I WILL LIVE, LAUGH, LOVE AND ENJOY MY LIFE AS GOD INTENDED.

IF YOU HAVEN’T ACCEPTED JESUS YET:
How Do I Get Saved?
Salvation is a gift from God, and comes through believing in Jesus and Jesus alone. In John 14:6, the Bible tells us very clearly that Christ is the only way to God and eternal life, and in Romans 10:9–11, the Bible tells us how to be saved and have eternal life: Believe in our hearts that Jesus died for our sins and was raised from the grave, and confess with our mouths that He is our Lord and Savior.

John 14:6 states: Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (KJV)

Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Romans 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Romans 10:11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

To accept Jesus Christ into your life and be saved, please say this prayer of salvation.
“Heavenly Father, thank You for Your love for me and for sending Jesus Christ to die on the cross for all my sins. His precious blood washes me clean. You raised Him from the dead. He’s alive today and I thank You that all my sins are forgiven. I’m made righteous by Jesus’ blood. God’s favor is upon me and I thank you Father that surely goodness and mercy will follow me all the days of my life from this day forth.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
