We take every step trusting and looking to Jesus for guidance, direction and encouragement.2 Corinthians 5:7, KJV (For we walk by faith, not by sight:) |
Now look at the Message Version: 2 Corinthians 5:7 It’s what we trust in but don’t yet see that keeps us going. Allow Jesus to be your “life coach”. In Proverbs 3:5-6, He “promises” He WILL direct our paths. This requires leaning on, being confident in Him and keeping our thoughts directed toward His love for us and His willingness to continually guide us down a path of victory in all areas of our lives. |
Thought for the Week |
Walking by Faith means taking one step at a time with Jesus and looking to Him for guidance, direction and encouragement.
IF YOU HAVEN’T ACCEPTED JESUS YET: How Do I Get Saved? Salvation is a gift from God, and comes through believing in Jesus and Jesus alone. In John 14:6, the Bible tells us very clearly that Christ is the only way to God and eternal life, and in Romans 10:9–11, the Bible tells us how to be saved and have eternal life: Believe in our hearts that Jesus died for our sins and was raised from the grave, and confess with our mouths that He is our Lord and Savior. John 14:6 states: Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (KJV) Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. Romans 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Romans 10:11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. To accept Jesus Christ into your life and be saved, please say this prayer of salvation. “Heavenly Father, thank You for Your love for me and for sending Jesus Christ to die on the cross for all my sins. His precious blood washes me clean. You raised Him from the dead. He’s alive today and I thank You that all my sins are forgiven. I’m made righteous by Jesus’ blood. God’s favor is upon me and I thank you Father that surely goodness and mercy will follow me all the days of my life from this day forth. In Jesus’ name, Amen.” |
