The Lord IS My Shepherd

THE LORD is my Shepherd [to feed, guide, and shield me], I shall not lack.

Psalms 23:1

As you read Psalms 23 below, think about every word. Think about how a shepherd keeps the sheep from danger. Think about how a shepherd leads the sheep into peaceful, plentiful pastures where they find REST, and an abundance of ALL they need.
JESUS IS YOUR Shepherd. Run to Him for all you need. He wants you to depend on Him and look to Him for your every need. Allow Him to do His job and enjoy being abundantly taken care of spiritually, physically and financially.
Amplified Psalms 23:1~6
Psa 23:1 A Psalm of David. THE LORD is my Shepherd [to feed, guide, and shield me], I shall not lack.
Psa 23:2 He makes me lie down in [fresh, tender] green pastures; He leads me beside the still and restful waters. [Rev. 7:17.]
Psa 23:3 He refreshes and restores my life (my self); He leads me in the paths of righteousness [uprightness and right standing with Him–not for my earning it, but] for His name’s sake.
Psa 23:4 Yes, though I walk through the [deep, sunless] valley of the shadow of death, I will fear or dread no evil, for You are with me; Your rod [to protect] and Your staff [to guide], they comfort me.
Psa 23:5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my [brimming] cup runs over.
Psa 23:6 Surely or only goodness, mercy, and unfailing love shall follow me all the days of my life, and through the length of my days the house of the Lord [and His presence] shall be my dwelling place.

Thought for the Week

Jesus, you know the situations that I face. I come to you first, not as a last resort because I know you are my Shepherd.

IF YOU HAVEN’T ACCEPTED JESUS YET:

How Do I Get Saved?

Salvation is a gift from God, and comes through believing in Jesus and Jesus alone. In John 14:6, the Bible tells us very clearly that Christ is the only way to God and eternal life, and in Romans 10:9–11, the Bible tells us how to be saved and have eternal life: Believe in our hearts that Jesus died for our sins and was raised from the grave, and confess with our mouths that He is our Lord and Savior.

John 14:6 states: Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (KJV)

Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

Romans 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Romans 10:11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

To accept Jesus Christ into your life and be saved, please say this prayer of salvation.

“Heavenly Father, thank You for Your love for me and for sending Jesus Christ to die on the cross for all my sins. His precious blood washes me clean. You raised Him from the dead. He’s alive today and I thank You that all my sins are forgiven. I’m made righteous by Jesus’ blood. God’s favor is upon me and I thank you Father that surely goodness and mercy will follow me all the days of my life from this day forth.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
