Ask and Believe!

Jesus asked him, What do you want Me to do for you? He said, Lord, let me receive my sight! And Jesus said to him, Receive your sight! Your faith has healed you.

Luke 18:41-42

Sometimes we are limited by our own expectations but it is not about what I can afford or what I can do. It’s about what Jesus can afford and what He can do.
Did the blind man ask Jesus for a cane to assist him in his lack (his need) or to be able to see?

Luke 18:35-43 says:
[35] As He came near to Jericho, it occurred that a blind man was sitting by the roadside begging. [36] And hearing a crowd going by, he asked what it meant. [37] They told him, Jesus of Nazareth is passing by. [38] And he shouted, saying, Jesus, Son of David, take pity and have mercy on me! [39] But those who were in front reproved him, telling him to keep quiet; yet he screamed and shrieked so much the more, Son of David, take pity and have mercy on me! [40] Then Jesus stood still and ordered that he be led to Him; and when he came near, Jesus asked him, [41] What do you want Me to do for you? He said, Lord, let me receive my sight! [42] And Jesus said to him, Receive your sight! Your faith (your trust and confidence that spring from your faith in God) has healed you. [43] And instantly he received his sight and began to follow Jesus, recognizing, praising, and honoring God; and all the people, when they saw it, praised God.
Jesus is willing and able to give you ALL you need to have and enjoy your life, the first step is to ASK!

The second step is to BELIEVE!!
All things are possible to those who “BELIEVE”.
Mark 9:23 MSG
[23] Jesus said, “If? There are no ‘ifs’ among believers. Anything can happen.”
Ask AND Believe for your “whole” Miracle today!

Thought for the Week

I will “Ask & Believe” Jesus for my “whole” Miracle today!

IF YOU HAVEN’T ACCEPTED JESUS YET:

How Do I Get Saved?

Salvation is a gift from God, and comes through believing in Jesus and Jesus alone. In John 14:6, the Bible tells us very clearly that Christ is the only way to God and eternal life, and in Romans 10:9–11, the Bible tells us how to be saved and have eternal life: Believe in our hearts that Jesus died for our sins and was raised from the grave, and confess with our mouths that He is our Lord and Savior.

John 14:6 states: Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (KJV)

Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

Romans 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Romans 10:11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

To accept Jesus Christ into your life and be saved, please say this prayer of salvation.

“Heavenly Father, thank You for Your love for me and for sending Jesus Christ to die on the cross for all my sins. His precious blood washes me clean. You raised Him from the dead. He’s alive today and I thank You that all my sins are forgiven. I’m made righteous by Jesus’ blood. God’s favor is upon me and I thank you Father that surely goodness and mercy will follow me all the days of my life from this day forth.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.”

Have you made a mess?

Then they cried unto the Lord in their trouble, and he delivered them out of their distresses.

Psalms 107:6 KJV

Have you tried to fix a mess or even messes you created because you would not listen to God for directions and instructions? Are you emotionally wore out because you can’t figure out how to change it?

STOP!!

It is not to late to receive instruction and direction from Jesus to change the course of the circumstance.

Such was the case of the Israelites. Look at Psalms 107:4~6.

Psalm 107:4-6 KJV
[4] They wandered in the wilderness in a solitary way; they found no city to dwell in. [5] Hungry and thirsty, their soul fainted in them. [6] Then they cried unto the Lord in their trouble, and he delivered them out of their distresses.

4: They wandered. Have you been wandering around? Wondering how to fix the mess?

5: Is your soul (mind, will and emotions) worn out?

6: STOP! Simply tell Jesus “I messed up and I need your help. He is there full of love for you waiting to freely give you encouragement, comfort and wisdom (directions / instructions) to deliver you out of the distresses and messes.

Thought for the Week

Jesus is willing, able and ready to deliver me from all my distresses, I just need to ask Him and follow His instructions.

Boldly and Confidently

Let us then fearlessly and confidently and boldly draw near to the throne of grace (the throne of God’s unmerited favor to us sinners), that we may receive mercy for our failures and find grace to help in good time for every need appropriate help and well-timed help, coming just when we need it.

Hebrews 4:16 AMP Version

First, Lets talk about “fearlessly”. Fearlessly means without having any fear.

Second, let’s look at “confident” and “boldness”. Let’s say it this way: Confident Boldness is a convincing stance. It is a state of mind (thoughts), will and emotions. You are convinced, you have every right to boldly be here and to confidently speak your heart to God your Father.

Why can we have this attitude? Because of Jesus’s finished work on the cross. He shed His own blood so we could be made righteous. Jesus shed His blood so we could say, “I fearlessly and confidently and boldly draw near to the throne of grace (the throne of God’s unmerited favor) because I am not afraid God doesn’t love me and I boldly and confidently know He cares about me and wants to provide for me far above and beyond what I can ask, imagine or think. 1 Cor 2:9.

Thought for the Week

I am not afraid that God my Father doesn’t love me. I boldly and confidently know He cares about me and wants to provide for me far above and beyond what I can ask, imagine or think.

The Lord IS My Shepherd

THE LORD is my Shepherd [to feed, guide, and shield me], I shall not lack.

Psalms 23:1

As you read Psalms 23 below, think about every word. Think about how a shepherd keeps the sheep from danger. Think about how a shepherd leads the sheep into peaceful, plentiful pastures where they find REST, and an abundance of ALL they need.
JESUS IS YOUR Shepherd. Run to Him for all you need. He wants you to depend on Him and look to Him for your every need. Allow Him to do His job and enjoy being abundantly taken care of spiritually, physically and financially.
Amplified Psalms 23:1~6
Psa 23:1 A Psalm of David. THE LORD is my Shepherd [to feed, guide, and shield me], I shall not lack.
Psa 23:2 He makes me lie down in [fresh, tender] green pastures; He leads me beside the still and restful waters. [Rev. 7:17.]
Psa 23:3 He refreshes and restores my life (my self); He leads me in the paths of righteousness [uprightness and right standing with Him–not for my earning it, but] for His name’s sake.
Psa 23:4 Yes, though I walk through the [deep, sunless] valley of the shadow of death, I will fear or dread no evil, for You are with me; Your rod [to protect] and Your staff [to guide], they comfort me.
Psa 23:5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my [brimming] cup runs over.
Psa 23:6 Surely or only goodness, mercy, and unfailing love shall follow me all the days of my life, and through the length of my days the house of the Lord [and His presence] shall be my dwelling place.

Thought for the Week

Jesus, you know the situations that I face. I come to you first, not as a last resort because I know you are my Shepherd.

We Walk By Faith

We take every step trusting and looking to Jesus for guidance, direction and encouragement.

2 Corinthians 5:7, KJV (For we walk by faith, not by sight:)

Now look at the Message Version:
2 Corinthians 5:7 It’s what we trust in but don’t yet see that keeps us going.

Allow Jesus to be your “life coach”.

In Proverbs 3:5-6, He “promises” He WILL direct our paths. This requires leaning on, being confident in Him and keeping our thoughts directed toward His love for us and His willingness to continually guide us down a path of victory in all areas of our lives.
The Amplified Version of Proverbs 3:5 says, “Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all your
heart and mind and do not rely on your own insight or understanding.”
Proverbs 3:6 In all your ways know, recognize, and acknowledge Him, and He will direct and
make straight and plain your paths.

Thought for the Week

Walking by Faith means taking one step at a time with Jesus and looking to Him for guidance, direction and encouragement.
