Live, Laugh, Love.

This is how much God loved the world: He gave his Son, his one and only Son. And this is why: so that no one need be destroyed; by believing in Him, anyone can have a whole and lasting life.

John 3:16, Message Version

Happy Easter Everyone!

Live, Laugh, Love. We hear these words often and see them carved out
of blocks of wood in craft stores and written on picture frames to hang on the wall. I often see them in houses as decals on the wall, but what does Jesus say about these three words?

First let’s take “LIVE” also translated “life”. Put them together and we get, “live
life”. This immediately takes me to:

John 10:10, AMP
The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows).

Key point here: Jesus tells us He came so that we could “have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows)”.
We hear this often, but stop and think about this. Our father sent us Jesus to teach us and show us His heart and will toward us. His will toward us is to “have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows)”. So why would you settle for anything less than God’s best for your life?

Next let’s take “LAUGH”. This takes us to Proverbs 17:22, AMP:
A happy heart is good medicine and a cheerful mind works healing, but a broken spirit dries up the bones.

In order to “LAUGH” you have to have a “happy heart”. The Holy Spirit is telling us we must have a cheerful mind. In order to have a cheerful mind, we must have faith, (trust and confidence) in Jesus’ love for us and see Him as the only source of all good things. We must never look to people or things as the source of our happiness, provision and supply, spiritually, emotionally, physically or financially. People and things can never bring you constant and consistent happiness. Jesus can! Keep your mind set on Jesus and the love He has for you. Keep your mind set on the fact that He did everything it took to offer you a life you can choose to enjoy. An abundant provision of all good things spiritually, physically, emotionally and financially. Trust Him to direct your every step to a happy heart. When you do this you will be laughing and enjoying your life.

Now let’s take “LOVE.” This takes us to John 3:16. God soooo loved the world!
“This is how much God loved the world: He gave his Son, his one and only Son. And this is why: so that no one need be destroyed; by believing in Him, anyone can have a whole and lasting life. (Message Version)

Key word: ANYONE. No matter what you have done if you accept Jesus, you can have a
whole and lasting life!

Do you see the circle of life as God offers it to us? It all comes back to accepting the gift of His son, Jesus, and trusting in Him and His provision for all good things for us, spiritually, physically, emotionally and financially.
LIVE, LAUGH, LOVE AND ENJOY YOUR LIFE AS GOD INTENDED!

Thought for the Week

I WILL LIVE, LAUGH, LOVE AND ENJOY MY LIFE AS GOD INTENDED.

IF YOU HAVEN’T ACCEPTED JESUS YET:
How Do I Get Saved?
Salvation is a gift from God, and comes through believing in Jesus and Jesus alone. In John 14:6, the Bible tells us very clearly that Christ is the only way to God and eternal life, and in Romans 10:9–11, the Bible tells us how to be saved and have eternal life: Believe in our hearts that Jesus died for our sins and was raised from the grave, and confess with our mouths that He is our Lord and Savior.

John 14:6 states: Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (KJV)

Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Romans 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Romans 10:11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

To accept Jesus Christ into your life and be saved, please say this prayer of salvation.
“Heavenly Father, thank You for Your love for me and for sending Jesus Christ to die on the cross for all my sins. His precious blood washes me clean. You raised Him from the dead. He’s alive today and I thank You that all my sins are forgiven. I’m made righteous by Jesus’ blood. God’s favor is upon me and I thank you Father that surely goodness and mercy will follow me all the days of my life from this day forth.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.”

Go Boldy!

Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that
we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

Hebrews 4:16, KJV

We are told in Hebrews 4:16 to go “boldly” to the throne of Grace so that we may obtain mercy (love and compassion) and find grace in our time of need. Now it does not say “some need” and it does not put a stipulation on the size of the need. It just says, “go boldly and obtain your help”. Ask God confidently for His help and supply. He wants you to receive His mercy (love and compassion). So, no matter what the situation is or the size of your problem, to God it is nothing. He can supply what you need and fill you with His love and compassion. Now you might have a part to play in receiving your supply. So, if He is giving you instructions such as forgiveness, planting a seed, making a phone call, etc., just do it. Always be willing to hear Him and obey.

Thought for the Week

So, let’s walk right up to our Father’s throne of Grace and get what He is so ready to give. Take
the mercy, accept the help, receive His supply.

Become What You Believe!

Then He touched their eyes, saying, “According to your faith and trust and reliance [on the power invested in Me] be it done to you.” And their eyes were opened.

Matthew 9:29-30

Amplified Version:
Matthew 9:27 As Jesus passed on from there, two blind men followed Him, shouting loudly, Have pity and mercy on us, Son of David!
Matthew 9:28 When He reached the house and went in, the blind men came to Him, and Jesus said to them, Do you believe that I am able to do this? They said to Him, Yes, Lord.
Matthew 9:29 Then He touched their eyes, saying, According to your faith and trust and reliance [on the power invested in Me] be it done to you;
Matthew 9:30 And their eyes were opened.
Jesus taught that our faith, trust and confidence in His love and power for us plays a part in receiving what we desire. Notice in Matthew 9:27, two blind men followed him shouting “Jesus, have mercy (mercy = love & compassion) on us”. In Matthew 9:29 Jesus asks them a question ~ “do you believe” that I am able to do this? Then in Matthew 9:29 Jesus touches their eyes & says “According to YOUR faith and trust and reliance (dependency) on the power God invested in me be it done unto you. In Matthew 9:30, their eyes were opened. Hallelujah! WOW, they could see. Think about it. Obviously, they “each” believed in Jesus’s love for them and HIS WILLINGNESS to take blindness from them and replace it with sight.

Look at the Message Version of Matthew 9:29
Matthew 9:29 He touched their eyes and said, “BECOME WHAT YOU BELIEVE.”

What are you asking and believing Jesus to do for you? Do you believe He can do it for you?

Become what you believe!

Thought for the Week

I will become what I believe. What Do I Believe?

Being a Good Receiver

For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him.

2 Chronicles 16:9, KJV

 Are you a good receiver?

Are you…

*Trusting Him

*Basking in His love for you

*Believing what he says AND acting on it

*Expecting Him to fulfill His promises in your life

Profile of A Good Receiver:

*Someone who is believing “beyond” their circumstances

*
Someone who is seeing the end from the beginning. (They are “seeing” the end result from their situation)

*
They see victory.
They see themselves with their miracle.
They have set “All-things-are-possible-for-those-who-believe” boundaries.
 “God-IS-working-this-out-for-me” boundaries

Thought for the Week

I AM a good receiver of God’s love and goodness.

Not One More Year in Bondage~Not One More Year in Opression

So be subject to God. Resist the devil [stand firm against him], and he will flee from you.

James 4:7, AMP

What is bondage?

Many people don’t know that bondage refers to limitations, restrictions and confinements that are placed on people.

What is oppression?

Oppression refers to heaviness.

How does Satan use bondage and oppression?

Satan uses bondage and oppression to affect a person spiritually, mentally, emotionally, physically and financially. Satan has designed bondage and oppression to keep us from enjoying life.

There are only two positions a believer can take to obtain enjoy living life:

  1. Refusal

The choice is yours. You can give satan the right to continue his attack on your life or you can refuse it. Your refusal becomes an aggressive weapon against the devil.  It’s what the book of James calls “resisting the devil”.  What happens when we resist the devil?  James 4:7 declares he WILL flee from you.

  1. Acceptance

Accept that Jesus made available to you an abundant life far above and beyond what you can ask, imagine or think.  Resist the devil’s lies and scams and let the Holy Spirit teach you how to have the life God planned for you to live.

Thought for the Week

Not one more year in bondage, not one more year in oppression.  If I refuse to accept the devil’s lies he will flee.
