Faith Without Works Is Dead.

For as the human body apart from the spirit is lifeless, so faith apart from [its]works of obedience is also dead.

AMP James 2:26

Faith without corresponding action is lifeless. Just like when you “believe” something is true in the physical realm, your actions correspond with your belief.  The same holds true in the spiritual realm.  When you are“believing” the promises of God your actions will correspond with what you believe. Your thoughts, words and actions will line up with your believing.

Thought for the Week

Faith is aggressive. It is bold, forward, forceful and tough. Faith is persistent. It applies constant, relentless pressure to a situation until the desired result manifests.

Allow The Holy Spirit To Lead You

This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.

– Galatians 5:16 King James Version

Live from the inside out:
Live life by walking in the spirit. This is the key to overcoming the flesh.  Your flesh wants you to live by your emotions.  God gave us emotions to enjoy life and NOT to control our lives.  After we are born again, the spirit of Jesus (The Holy Spirit) lives in us.   If you follow the prompting of the Spirit of God within you, you won’t be “dominated” by the pressure your flesh (your emotions) tries to put on you.As you listen to the Word (Faith / Trust and confidence in God comes by hearing the Word Romans 10:17) and you learn how to yield to the Holy Spirit telling you what to do, you’ll constantly be making little adjustments in your life according to what He says. And those little adjustments will keep you walking in victory. You see, God always and only wants you to walk in life constantly and victoriously.  This means full of peace and joy and enjoying every day of your life.  He knows just what you need to do this on a consistent basis.  He can look ahead in your life and see the traps and pressures the devil is laying out for you to walk into.  So follow the Holy Spirit’s leading and He will maneuver you safely around them to consistent victory.

 Thought for the Week Confession

If I walk in the Spirit, I won’t be led by my emotions.

Choose to Believe!

No unbelief or distrust made him waver (doubtingly question) concerning the promise of God, but he grew strong and was empowered by faith as he gave praise and glory to God.

Romans 4:20 AMPC

There is a lot of spiritual meat for us in Romans 4:20. Let’s break it down.

This verse is speaking of Abraham.
It says no unbelief or distrust made him waver (doubtingly question) concerning the promise of God. Obviously, for us to be told this means that Abraham was faced with (just as we are) thoughts of unbelief, distrust and doubting questions concerning the promises of God. Abraham had to (just like we do) choose to push doubting thoughts away and praise God for His love, promises and faithfulness to bring them to pass in our lives.
God loves us so much that He designed for us to be empowered by faith! He designed us to have trust and confidence in Him and His promises. Then we can give praise to God and trust His plan for each of us.

Thought for the Week

Choose to Believe God today! Choose to stand on His word and keep your trust in God’s promises! He WILL empower you to keep believing and keep expecting His love, power and goodness to be working daily in your life.

IF YOU HAVEN’T ACCEPTED JESUS YET:

How Do I Get Saved?

Salvation is a gift from God, and comes through believing in Jesus and Jesus alone. In John 14:6, the Bible tells us very clearly that Christ is the only way to God and eternal life, and in Romans 10:9–11, the Bible tells us how to be saved and have eternal life: Believe in our hearts that Jesus died for our sins and was raised from the grave, and confess with our mouths that He is our Lord and Savior.

John 14:6 states: Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (KJV)

Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

Romans 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Romans 10:11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

To accept Jesus Christ into your life and be saved, please say this prayer of salvation.

“Heavenly Father, thank You for Your love for me and for sending Jesus Christ to die on the cross for all my sins. His precious blood washes me clean. You raised Him from the dead. He’s alive today and I thank You that all my sins are forgiven. I’m made righteous by Jesus’ blood. God’s favor is upon me and I thank you Father that surely goodness and mercy will follow me all the days of my life from this day forth.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.”

What are you paying attention to?

For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

Romans 8:6 KJV

What are you paying attention to?

Romans 8:6 KJV says:
For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
Carnal ~ not spiritual; merely human; temporal; worldly:
Are you paying attention to what you see going on around you OR what God says to you in His Word?
God tells us in Romans 8:6
  • To be carnally minded is to only see things in your life as getting worse.
    • This will only bring agitation, anxiety, gloom, doom and destruction.
  • To be spiritually minded is to believe God’s promises. To stand confidently in His love for you and to expect His willingness to always turn whatever bad the devil tries to bring your way, into abundant Zoe life and peace for you.
(Zoe – life as God knows it)
The Method:
  • Your job is to believe, speak and expect ONLY what God promises you in His Word.
  • God’s job is to supply the RESULTS in your life.

Thought for the Week

To be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is abundant Zoe life and peace for me.

How do you start your day?

Trust GOD from the bottom of your heart; don’t try to figure out everything on your own. Listen for GOD’s voice in everything you do, everywhere you go; He’s the one who will keep you on track. Don’t assume that you know it all. Run to GOD! Run from evil! Your body will glow with health, your very bones will vibrate with life! Honor GOD with everything you own; give Him the first and the best. Your barns will burst, your wine vats will brim over. But don’t, dear friend, resent GOD’s discipline; don’t sulk under his loving correction. It’s the child he loves that GOD corrects; a father’s delight is behind all this.

Proverbs 3:5-12 MSG

How do you start your day?

As soon as you wake up (immediately) look to Jesus for love, support and direction.  Push away “any” pressure for “you” to figure out how you will be the supplier of your day and anybody else’s.

Things you must know:

1. Pressure and discouragement is from the devil.

2. Peace, love and encouragement is from our loving Father.

Start your day by “pushing away” discouraging thoughts from the devil.

Look to our loving Father God! He wants you to enjoy your day and empower you with all the wisdom and tangible things you need to live each day in His ABUNDANT BLESSINGS!

Look at Proverbs 3:5-12 MSG

Trust GOD from the bottom of your heart; don’t try to figure out everything on your own. Listen for GOD’s voice in everything you do, everywhere you go; He’s the one who will keep you on track. Don’t assume that you know it all. Run to GOD! Run from evil! Your body will glow with health, your very bones will vibrate with life! Start the day expecting good and see our loving God’s provision flowing to you!

God Wants You to Prosper!

Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.

3 John 1:2 KJV

I love 3 John 1:2 because it shows the “true heart of God” for us. When Jesus first led me to this scripture; I remember I was so excited. Excited because I always saw God as a harsh, abrasive fault finding God who did not love me but yet, held my forever future life after death; in the palm of His hand. The torment and fear were a constant reminder of what I had to look forward to. It would fill my days with fear and sorrow. but now…we know the truth! Look at 3 John 1:2 out of the Amplified.
3 John 1:2 AMPC
Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in every way and that your body may keep well, even as I know your soul keeps well and prospers.
It says, “Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in every way. As our souls (mind, will & emotions) prosper.” God wants our prosperity and health to prosper also. He wants us to enjoy “wholeness” of life, nothing missing and nothing broken. Expect it and don’t settle for anything less.
